Why not get in touch and enter our writing competition for budding journalists? At the Daniel Phelan Trust.

All you have to do is write about something that is happening in your world in no more than 1000 words. We don’t want just your opinion. We want to hear the other side of the story – or as many sides that you can find. Give us some facts and figures to back up what you are saying and talk to others.

Tell us what’s going on, good or bad. But don’t make it up!

It has to be real!

The competition is open to pupils attending schools in Lewisham, Lambeth and Wandsworth from 12 to 18 years of age.

If you are interested in entering , please contact your head teacher.
